shivering into
the marrow of the moon as
it rises singing
For Frank Tassone’s #haikai challenge #116, cold moon.
I borrowed the painting by Marianne von Werfkin that Jane used to illustrate her moon gogyohka as inspiration for my collage.

I love this! “… marrow of the moon.” Excellent!

I do like the blending of contrasting images in this, the shivering of the marrow combined with ‘rising’ and ‘singing’.

This one evolved almost completely from what I started with after I did the collage. It really is often an interaction.

I’ve been reading about Lee Krasner and how she subjugated herself to the genius of her husband Jackson Pollack. She was far more interesting, in every way.

Your words are a perfect fit for the painting. The footprint is a nice touch in your collage.

Thanks Ken. A serendipitous find in my collage box.
