gossamered

dec moon shadows 3s

I hold out
my hands and wait for
the moon to
fill them—I
close my eyes to balance on
the edge of the light

I render
myself, quiet the
quivering,
awaken
the colors beyond darkness–
depths turned inside out

  1. You’ve created gorgeous images in this poem, Kerfe. I love the idea of balancing on the edge of moonlight – and then, in the second stanza, the depths of darkness turn inside out with colour!
