I visited the Collage Box Oracle for Sue Vincent’s photo prompt, below.

all life is flow
we mix and match waves that return
only to disappear
step into each moment–
illuminate whatever it is with wonder
The photos made some interesting thought combinations too. But then the Oracle is like that.
Lovely how you have got waves out of hills and water out of snow. It’s all a flow back and forth. The hills might have been shaped by waves and snow is water, so…

Thanks Sue. This photo seemed to need layers. And the collage Box Oracle was calling.

What interesting work. I love collage. A collage poem is a great idea. Is this an online app or did you make it by hand ? Either way it’s very effective.

Thanks Suzanne. All by hand. I cut things and words out from magazines and catalogs and have them stored in plastic bins. When I want to make a collage, I look through to see what’s there.

I make magazine collages too but always have trouble incorporating the words. I like your approach. Maybe I will adopt something similar. I’ll look out for other examples of your work too. 😀

I pull words out of the box and they make themselves into thoughts–very like the magnetic poetry Oracle.

Thanks Claudia. I’m glad to be getting back to more collage these days. It’s a different mind set than painting.
