Wonderful concept and execution. I see you’ve been out walking 🙂

Yes. A short one yesterday. Way too many people out in the afternoon, even with the threatening clouds. I’ll stick to early morning from now on.

Happy you got out, and good idea on early morning. I’m about halfway done with the collage.

That’s exactly how they look—petalled puddles.

I noticed them on my walk yesterday. A bit of color amidst all the grey.

I remember waiting to cross the road along the river, standing beneath the cherry trees and seeing the drifts of pink and white blossom in the puddles. They looked so out of place. Most natural things look out of place next to a busy road…

This was on a sidewalk corner waiting to cross the street. Same feeling.

I know the flowering trees are to make the cities look more ‘natural’ but it somehow doesn’t work, not when they stick them in straight lines down the central reservations of main arteries.

These are right flush against the building on the corner. I don’t know how they and the building can coexist in such close proximity.

Fruit trees aren’t big trees so maybe they have shallower roots. Usually, a big tree close to a building means the building falls down.

It’s a pretty big apartment building…
