Me too. Oh what a beautiful smell. There is a bush next to the Montco library I will not be seeing this year (not only is the school closed but you can’t go on the grounds, they have virus testing site set up there) and I thought of it blooming with not many to see it. Well, it doesn’t care, but I miss it.
We only ever had one in a very tiny north-facing garden. It was massive and took all the light there was. We let it flower once again then chopped it down. I hate having to do things like that.
Lilacs. I love them and I like how you refer to them here.

Thanks Claudia. One of my favorites in the flower world.

p.s. I love the fan shape, it gives a feeling of movement.

Thanks Jade. I found a bunch of these underneath my circle paper. I had forgotten I had them, but they were perfect for flowers.

I bet they could be folded into fans….

I think they are used to design fans by calligraphers.

Lovely! I imagine the lilacs are getting ghostly by now.

These certainly are, as they are remembered from one of my childhood homes. We had a huge bush in the back yard and it was always full of butterflies.
