What is the name
for the brink
of between?
How to bridge
the gap? What lines
cast what shadows
into the way
of where or when?
Why bother
either saving
or spending
time?—it can’t
be returned
or made to last
beyond the edge.

A quadrille for Jade at dVerse using the word way as inspiration.

Deep! Great rendition of that song, the banjo and accordian work so well together with her clear voice. As long as there’s a patch of blue sky, hope lives.

Thanks Jade. So true. This song has been covered by so many people but I like the raw simplicity of this one. The videos with footage from the movie 1917 are just too heartbreaking.

Bridging the in-between and finding the way to that patch of blue. Thoughtful poem and dreamy art.

The sea between is worth preserving even after bridging the gap. The questions are ever-present though, so many gaps and maybe not enough bridges.

I think what matters most is trying to find that bridge more than actually crossing it…

A dark and brooding piece very much in tune with the music.

We’re always on that edge, even as it moves before us, moving forward.

I think that’s true. We don’t always notice it though.
