KL Caley is continuing Sue Vincent’s #writephoto, beginning with Sue’s original photo, below. I came to Sue’s photo prompts later, so this is my first response to the image. It being Saturday, after I painted my watercolors, I asked the Oracle to help with my poem. We know she has Sue on her mind, as all of us who have been touched by her do.

come through
this between wind
shaded in green light
breathe deep the spirit earth
beneath stonesongs
of pure listening
ask to follow rootpaths
as they seed birdgardens
rest full and true
feel the ancient how
of to be

We all have spring hope–as does the Oracle, of course. I love:
feel the ancient how
of to be

It was chilly again today, but still felt like spring.

Ooh fantastic entry. The first poem in, I think.
Thank you so much for taking part.

I love the black hole imagery in both painting and poem, there is still light at the centre!

This poem is so apt for the image, all green and stone, winding back to the beginning. The Oracle’s messages are always about looking and listening. The answer is always there.

Thanks Kate. Life is not that complicated–it’s we who make it so.
