I do not wander
randomly but I
also do not follow
a map. Unlocated, I
listen, I look. The Earth
claims me, returns me
with her favor. I
cannot name all
the colors, nor sing all
the songs she has nested
in my heart. They are
unmeasurable, eternal.

For earthweal, fierce love.
powerful graphic representation of a mat of interconnectivity of the spectrum of all. it reminds of the mycelium that collaborates and connects plant life. so pretty!!!!!!!!

You’re welcome. I love the shapes you stitched and the colors you used.

I borrowed those little triangles from a drawing I saw somewhere, they work well for stitching.

It is a man rich in all that matters who has too many songs in his heart to sing. Wonderful!

What a beautiful message, Kerfe. Your picture is also stunning. How did you create that design?

Thanks Robbie. I did a watercolor, then embroidered on top. Many hours of work, but soothing.

So its embroidery. Wow, that is so innovative. I was good at embroidery and tapestry when I was at school. I may return to it one day when I have more time.

You should. I find it very calming.

Fierce love, indeed, unmeasurable and eternal. Lovely, Kerfe I love the artwork, too. Those textures are so interesting. When I went back and looked at the top photo, I saw a cat.

Thanks Merril. I started a few of these embroideries a few years ago, but this is the only one I finished. I’ll unearth them from storage and hopefully complete them one of these days…

Maybe coming at them with a fresh eye is a good thing.

The world does seem to be remaking itself. Being lost for awhile is not such a bad thing under the circumstances. You’re more open to new things.

I’m not so sure about that!😀

It doesn’t seem so at the time for sure. But it has made me see more clearly where I would like to be.

Oh, how wonderful. It’s the way to be, unlocated and eternal.

And that’s how it should be. We should maybe stop trying to know everything.

We never will. Nor do we need to.

– Too big for words. And yet your words point the way to those songs.
