The Oracle was obviously missing the birdlings.

ghosts linger as dark stars
dazzled holes of lost time
ask the angels how to remember
flying the sky
melting color like sacred fire
dancing with air
if we sail our breath
with wild naked eyes
vast and opened into listening
who will we become?
Also linking to earthweal open link weekend.
I hope we will become better and happier: enlightened, perhaps? At least we can try.

You’re right Ingrid. We can try. Who knows what we will find?

Beautiful–if only. “Who will we become? ”
Your first line sounds like something i would write. The Oracle is definitely giving us similar messages.

Merril, that line really struck me too… it feels like a question that’s deep within me that I’m scared of knowing the answer to…

I can understand that. But perhaps, at my age, it’s a good thing I’m still wondering.

I don’t think we ever stop being afraid.

She is. I wanted to go somewhere else, but she was having no parts of it. And then it came to me that the birdlings were being called as well.

What a tremendous image! Yes, we’ve all been missing the birdlings. They make beautiful angels.

Thanks Jane. They do! I was so happy to find them the other day, and obviously, the Oracle was watching.

What a brilliant question. I guess the answer would be open ended – there are no limits for growth. 😀 I love your art work here too.

Thanks Suzanne. We have a hard time remaining open ended, but we should try it more often.

Who indeed will we become? Ghosts or angels? That which we are already, I suppose, the more airily composed … B

You’re right Brendan–our changes always incorporate exactly who we are, even if we can’t ourselves see who that is.

Amazing! You have caused these magnets to speak like prophets. And so lyrical!

Thanks. The Oracle knows what she wants to tell us, we just have to figure it out.
