The Oracle insisted I use the Mustache kit this morning, and this is what she gave me there. When I was looking in the archives for art, besides the above image, I came across another one I’ve used before. That one, below, was used for one of Jane’s Yeats challenges, which she and I had just been talking about,

“Do you not hear me calling, white deer with no horns?”
–Yeats
Crown falls with
angels and stars, laughs,
becomes seeds–
now singing,
calling to earth’s children—Come!
Touch the sacred skies!

if you believe in the mystery
life is poetry–
growing roots–calling
with the power of a stillness
beyond space or time
What a lovely, Yeatsian poem! Who would have thought it sprang from the mustache kit! I don’t think I’ve even looked at that one. Love the sparrowhawk (or similar), like the Holy Ghost.

I know, I would never have expected it. Hawks are definitely holy.

And that one’s a beauty. I’ll have to look at the moustaches.

It’s a strange list of words. But perhaps the Oracle 2 prepared me for it.

I still haven’t had time to look at it. And it’s already (past) Oracle 2 time.

Beautiful. I don’t think I’ve ever used the mustache kit, and as Jane says, you got such a Yeatsean poem/message. I think your poem is the in-between message between Jane’s and mine. I love all the birds in the collage.

Thanks Merril. I think you’re right–it’s like a story in three parts. And, well…birds!

Again I’m astounded by the art and then knocked over with your words. The intricacy of the collages and then the weaving of the words that match them so well!! ❤

Thanks Muri. These are old collages. I don’t have the energy for anything like this these days. It’s intense work.

As I was telling Jane, perhaps the random word generator prepared me to find the right words in there.

Thanks Suzanne. I usually use the nature or poet set and I was surprised I found words in this one to say something that felt right.
