The Oracle is full of wisdom, as always.
I love moonclouds. And your painting, which looks full of life in nature.
You got my river–I’ve been trying to decide if I want to walk into the wind there. 🙂
This poem really speaks. I just to my brother (on the phone) I chose this rental because I was between a rock and a hard place. I don’t like it here but need to learn from your poem and see it as a fertile place where I will seed a happier future for myself.
I love the last three lines. All due respect to the Oracle, though, I’m giving you all the credit, Kerfe. I will feel differently about the rock and the hard place now. Hope has entered the picture. The artwork is also really beautiful.
Thanks Aletha. The thing is, I would never have come up with those lines without the Oracle. It’s always an interaction between. But She’s onto something.
The art is amazing and I love the color and motion! The poem is great – I can relate to trying to grow when shoved between that rock and the hard place!

We have a lot of similar images in your first stanza. The last three lines are for you. Enigmatic as usual.

She does. I keep thinking about that seed and wondering if it’s the kind of seed that needs to be battered before it sets.

I’m not sure of the answer to that either.

Thanks Suzanne. I’ve had to learn this myself, although I never had words for it before. No matter where we are, we can plant seeds.

I’ll keep that idea as a motto for the coming year. 🙂
