I got a message from the Oracle earlier this week when I opened my kitchen blind thinking “strange light this morning”.
The first thing she gave me today was the title, and the rest of the words fell quickly right into place.
The rainbow lasted about 10 minutes. Our local online newsletter was filled with photos that day.
Nothing more needs be said, K. That’s quite the beam going on there!

Oh, how is it indeed?
That is an amazing rainbow–and to last for so long!
I did describe your rainbow in mine. 🙂

Fantastic photos! And yes, the sly tells us all the important stuff. Why ask people, who know next to nothing?

Some people whose windows were facing the river got really incredible photos. But the experience needed no photos. We were lucky to have been gifted with it.

It’s usually hard to see rainbows in town, skylines not clear enough of buildings, but you got great shots all the same. They’ll serve to jog your memory even if they can’t replace the real thing.

Funny but I don’t think of rainbows inside a city. Thanks for the perspective.

Wonderful, inspiring sight. The title and the falling into place of words are also lovely gifts.

The title really informs the poem! I enjoyed both. The rainbow is very vivid! I’m usually so far away that the colors are washed out…

Thanks Muri. I usually only see them at the beach, and they fade quickly. This was a special one.
