“skydancing the light”–beautiful! Your birdlings go perfectly with your words. They look like they’re stitching the world together. Mending it? LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
Thanks Merril. I hadn’t thought of that, but I did purposely look for a mandala with stitching. It makes sense. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
You said you were hoping to be woken by birdsong. She was listening and gave you this wingsong to be going on with. Lovely! LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
What’s not to like. Hummingbirds, the leprechauns of bird-world. Some folk are just like that, welcome wherever they arrive. Like you, too. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
me too❣️ and I love this line in particular: skydancing the light ❤ David LikeLiked by 2 people Reply
The birdlings are particularly luminous in this one! Also, I can’t decide if I’m seeing a retina or an egg or a moon… All at once, I think! LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
The painting was based on a retina. But it’s very moonlike. And you are right, also resembling an egg. It was a strange morning light when I took the photo. Sometimes that works to the artwork’s advantage. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
