My message from the Oracle. The beginning came easily, but the rest transformed itself several times.

almost as if
here were wandering
between a path
and a shaded longing,
night becomes the murmur
of the birdforest wind–
the one that asks who,
listens like songlight–
the aftermath of why
within this tree-tendrilled moon
I hope to get to the NaPoWriMo prompt later today–but if not, this will have to suffice.
Beautifully iridescent!

I love the images, the visual and the word built ones. I think we’re all all the time wandering
between a path
and a shaded longing

Thanks Colleen. It’s an old watercolor I did for one of Sue’s prompts. She was such an inspiration in all ways.

I know… I miss her and her inspiration, too. 💜

Paints good. Good colors. Wonder, was the first first, then gave birth to the second? Idyll wondering.

I visited the Oracle first, then looked for art in my archives. There are times when I begin with art though.

This could only be a dream, inspired by the Oracle. You had the ‘if’ too. I left it alone, knew somebody else needed it. Gorgeous.

I love the owl listening like songlight. A beautiful mood to launch poetry month!

Thanks Sun. I’m sure that’s what owls do.
I did end up writing to the prompt, too, because the book covers for inspiration were so appealing.
